Thanks to Grandparents!

On Labor Day the Flagstaff Aquaplex opened. Ever since Lou has been bugging us to take her. We have always came up with an excuse, like why go to an indoor pool when the weather is so nice and we have one two blocks away. She finally gave up until she found out her cousins, Mary and Helen, were coming up from Phoenix and Grammy was looking for something to do with them. Needless to say Grammy took them and they had a wonderful time swimming, rock climbing, and even went back for more swimming tonight. Thank goodness for Grandparent's. Our kids got blessed twice with amazing Grandparent's on both sides. Without them there would be no aquaplex or swing. (The swing was built with Grandpa on Labor Day as a trade off because there was no way we were going to go opening day). Thanks Grammy, Pappy, Grandma and Grandpa for being the Worlds Greatest Grandparents.

Sickie Lou Lou.

On Saturday night I was writing how well Leks was doing in school and we hadn't had any sickness. Well let's just say that was a lie because at the same time at her Grammy's she was having a high fever and a sore throat. I was totally unaware of this until Sunday night when she got home and had a fever of 103 and a red throat. We took her to the Dr. on Monday and sure enough...Strep Throat. So after being absent for three days to go to the Lake, she got another 2 days off. She was very happy to be back at school today. All who know my daughter can probably picture us trying to do everything but tie her to the bed for her to get better. I finally stopped giving her Motrin so she would just lay down and quit running around like crazy. I don't think she was the only one going crazy, I'm not sure how many new dances she made up(while in her costume) to the same song "I Will Survive", which played over and over. I just kept praying that I would survive. We did find out she wants to take dance again and that she loves being home alone and thinks she's big enough to watch Brax. I'm thinking another couple of years!!!! Aleksia wanted to fix a crisis of people not being sure of her costume. So just to clear up the costume, she is a..............
Candy Corn Witch.

We had John take the test and it was just to true to not post it. Oh how I do love my Arial.

Catching up

It's amazing how fast time goes by before you know it. We have been so busy that it has been a while since I've posted a blog (one day I will find time to do it every two or three days). We have had a busy month trying to get everything packed for are final summer trip (while watching Kyler for 3 nights), putting it all away and pulling out the fall and winter clothing. It's amazing how quick the temp. changes here. One day it's in the 80's and the next it's low 50's and snow on the peaks. I do have to admit I'm pretty excited for snow. Nothing beats late starts and snow days!!!

Aleksia is doing great in school and loves it, even the 1-2hrs of homework which I can't stand. They are doing a hugh project on China and she is really getting into it. She just wishes Dad went there on his mission instead of Korea sometimes. It's really fun to see them get excited over learning things. Kudos to her teachers for making learning so fun. She is loving Gymnastics and has landed her front hand spring a few times. She flipped to hard once and is a little more cautious now. She is always practicing no matter where we are, like the grocery store. She is defiantly growing into a little lady. She loves her little bro. and her second brother Kyler way to much. I think they get tired of all her kisses and hugs.

Brax is doing a lot better now. We had a really rough couple of weeks with him and his seizures. After a week of the guessing game, we've finally got the med's readjusted and he's leveled out again. He is loving school and is a lot more alert. His teacher's said he laughed a couple of times at school when they were playing the tickling game and is doing great at staying awake and alert. Our friend Scotty couldn't believe how alert he was at the Lake. He truly loved riding on the boat and would get such a huge grin and his little tongue going just mentioning it. He also love's music and probably liked the fact that Scotty blasted it all the time.

All in all we are doing great and having a wonderful time keeping up with everything going on and finding time to play. We just can't wait to hit the slopes!!!
