Happy Valentines Day

I hope everyone has a wonderful valentines Day. I am so thankful for all you amazing people that we call friends and family. I don't even want to think about where we would be without those we have met along the way.
I am also grateful for the amazing man I have in my life. He took such amazing care of me following my oral surgery and is so wonderful with our kids. After a long month he gets to take care of me again, due to a broken wrist from a snowboarding accident (I knew we should of truly fixed the binding). I get surgery on Monday and am so thankful that I know he will take great care of me. he truly is the love of my life.
Have a great Valentines Day!
Love, Amie

How much is to much?

Okay, I love snow but seriously, how much is to much? Today was a snow day and it's already announced that tomorrow is to. I do admit that I love snow days, who doesn't love to sleep in and have a day of playing in the snow with the kids. I remember having only one snow day when I was little and that was because the power was out at the school. I do however remember sitting by the radio waiting and praying for a day off from school. Hoping that I could spend a day playing with my friends in pure bliss. It never worked for me but for Aleksia it really seems to work and she doesn't waste one minute of the day. She stays out for hrs. at a time and has a blast. I love watching her and her friends play and living the dream through her. Maybe these pictures will let you see just how snowed in and freezing we are.
There's to much when you can't find a hook to dry your coat?

There's to much when you can't find your child in the snow.

And there's to much when your snowbank almost meet's the roof and the black cord running through the middle all the ice is the de-icer cable that is plugged in and working, just as well as all your neighbors.

Love you all,
Amie

Superbowl Weekend

What a great weekend we had. It started off Friday night with a surprise visit from one of my favorite people in the world. My little cousin, who is not so little anymore with two kids of her own, Leslie and her Husband Steven stopped by for the night. They were on their way up from Phx. and stopped in on their way home. It's been over a yr. since I've seen her and we had a lot of catching up to do. Starting off with meeting her new addition Kade, who is the happiest little boy I've ever seen. Les, you guys looked great and it was so fun.
They left Saturday at 9am and with a quick change of the sheets, our friends Scott and Jamie also came up from Phx. to see us. They got here around 10am and we had a fun day enjoying the weather downtown and playing the Wii. They rocked Guitar Hero Band and Scott even beat John in Boxing. No one could beat Leksie in Tennis though, she has an amazing serve that you don't even know is taking place until the replay is on.
That night we made dinner and had Jen and Bronson over, I taught with Jamie and Jen when we lived in Bullhead. We enjoyed dinner and watching everyone make fools of themselves on the Wii. It was so funny that we couldn't stop laughing the whole night.
Sunday morning Scott and Jamie left and we headed off to church. After church we had friends and family over for the Superbowl and had a lot of great food and fun times. Things would have been better if the Cardinals had won, but it was still a wonderful time.
We are so thankful for the amazing family friends and that we have. The one benefit of living in different places we have met many wonderful people. We love you all and hope that all is well.
Love,
Amie

Griffinator

I had to post this picture because I thought it was hillarious. It is of my nephew Griffin at Disneyland during lunch time. His Mom was planning on staying all day, but after this he ended up going home with Grammy.

Now here's his Mommy at about 10:30 that night.

I'm not sure he has the same Happy Place as his Mom:)

We love you GRIFFEY!!!!
